MACRAME CHANDELIERS
F.A.Q.

-
WHEN UNPACKING YOUR CHANDELIER:
-
Lift your Chandelier out of the box by the gold ring
-
If any of your fibers have shifted/crinkled this is okay + easy to straighten - fibers respond very easily to touch - simply gently run your fingers along them to straighten, like so:
-
-
WHEN UNPACKING YOUR CHANDELIER:
-
If the level of your hoops have shifted a bit, that is okay + easy to straighten! Simple place 2 hands on either side of the hoop + gently press to level, repeat on the other 2 sides of the hoop like so:
-
-
HOW DO I HANG MY CHANDELIER?
-
Simply hang from your ceiling with any cup hook or general ceiling hook - make certain to hang this hook from a stud or use a drywall anchor to secure! Then, hang the top hoop of your chandelier onto your hook + voila - instant glamour
-
If you want to adjust the height of your hanging chandelier from the ceiling, hang a link of chain from your ceiling hook + attach your Chandelier Top Hoop to the chain link with an S-Hook

WHAT IF I WANT TO ADD A LIGHT TO MY CHANDELIER?
-
Procure a single cord light kit, these are generally inexpensive + easy to find! I prefer to use fabric wrapped cords rather than still plastic because they seem to hang better + look nicer with the fibers of the Chandelier - here's an example of an easy to find light kit!

If you would like me to procure you a light for an extra fee, I'm happy to do so, contact me here!

HOW DO I ADD MY LIGHT KIT TO MY CHANDELIER?
-
Thread the plug end through the 2" hoop hanging at the top of your chandelier, like this:
-
-
Depending on your light cord, this first thread may center your light, however if you need to further center your light, simply loop the plug back through the 2" hoop once more - do so LOOSELY so as not to compromise the integrity of your light cord, like so:

-
Add a LOW WATTAGE bulb to your light kit through the chandelier, like so:
-
Make certain that your bulb is in no way touching your fibers!
-
Please use these tips as a guideline to hang your chandelier. NEVER hang an open flame or a compromised electric cord in your Macrame Chandelier - The Aquariust is not responsible for damage done to your chandelier or otherwise once it is in your possession - always use caution when working with electricity + heat!
