Meet the Founder + Primary Artist
Bethany Jane

Bethany lives with her Wife + daughter in gratitude. She is currently obtaining her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University to more deeply explore the systemic intersections of art, relationship, therapy, and healing.
The Aquariust was created with the intention of integrating Bethany's need to challenge her deeply conditioned faulty beliefs that art + creativity are luxuries or only available to some + the fortunate few.
Curious to explore her personal history of trauma and healing through creativity, Bethany created The Aquariust as an umbrella in which she could safely explore her creative practice with her intellectual + emotional curiosities, grounded in the intention to liberate + inspire herself and others through artful exploration.
Bethany believes that art can be healing+ that creative practice is a way to interact with larger themes in life in a tangible + playful manner.
The Aquariust is committed to providing accessible, encouraging, beautiful creative resources + goods to amplify and support healing, beauty, art, + inclusivity.
